Feedback to Sony after purchase of Sony Handycam FDR-AX43A I was very disappointed not being able to purchase a Sony Handycam FDR-AXP55, because only Sony Handycam FDR-AX43A was available. What is the use of buying a video camera which is only slightly better than my mobile phone can do??? Unlike Sony Handycam FDR -AXP55, Sony Handycam FDR-AX43A have the following serious shortcomings: 1) It does not have gimbal mechanism to move the entire lens unit and image sensor to correct camera shake which is very important when using the video camera at or near max zoom on moving objects such as in safari or recording children enjoying rides in a theme park, 2) It does not have a scope, making it almost impossible for me to see what is being recorded when the sun/lighting is somewhere in front of me, due to reflection from my face. These are extreme important features, especially when mobile phone videos are unable to have these equivalents. To SONY MANAGEMENT: please remember, customers buy Handycams because we want to produce significantly better videos than what mobile phones can do. Please make Sony Handycam FDR-AXP55 again, especially as this does not need R&D.
