The photo is sharp and clear in the dark scenes. Compared with the A7-C, this camera uses the same processor but doesn't have AF tracking function. This is a major disadvantage. Hope the end users can get this function through future firmware upgrades.

This is my first full frame camera, I got it a month ago, is a great camera that gave me a much better and different image outcome with the fast auto focus and the 10 fps is super fast, 42 mp gave me better resolution and sharper, clearer picture than I expected. I am happy I got this camera, I believe I will enjoy much better shooting in the near future. Thanks Sony!

I bought this camera few months ago and brought it straight out for a 2-week trip in Sichuan. Unfortunately, I was not in time to attend the Complimentary Workshop for A7R3 and could not maximise utility of all the features, while scrambled thro the menu to search for functions I needed especially for manual setting. Love the handling grip but NOT the flip-up LCD screen as it is not fully articulated and caused some inconvenience when I put camera it portrait position. Other than that, the image quality of A7R3 is rock-solid and I love it!

great camera A7R III & The 35mm 1.4 lens .. bought it a month ago , fast focus , awesome bokeh .. reconmended for weddings , Landscape . Comfortable with gimbals .superb detail and good for low light situation.

42MP makes it excellent for my needs however, the crop-mode (Super 35mm) locked up while must wait for buffer to be cleared. This makes the high buffer shooting feature a complete useless in this aspect usage! We cannot recompose by switching between crop mode/full frame mode and must wait until all buffer cleared. I cannot understand why this feature must be locked. This not only happens on A7R3 but also A73 and maybe all other models too. Not to mention new A7R4, more people will be using crop mode especially in sports and wildlife. Imagine how people are getting frustrated for this annoying "lock-up".

I've used Nikon HDR for more than 25 years and just recently changed to Sony. Overall satisfied as it is light weight. Only downside is lens are a little pricey. And hopefully there are more workshops which I can attend like the ones in HK.

Brought Sony @7riii recently , am enjoying it. I swap the heavy DSLR to 4/3 cam,enjoyed their lightness & some special features but distraught by limited sharpness and been holding back and hesitating to go back to DSLR. Just love this Sony @7riii.

I bought this camera about 1 month ago and I was happy with the results it gives me. The resolution is awesome, and paired with my Sony 90mm macro lens, it is fabulous. The only sat back is perhaps the touch function of the LCD screen, should be able to do more things for example, when viewing photos, I would like to be able to scroll, pinch etc. Overall it is absolutely fantastic.

I bought the A7R3 over two months and have used it to shoot various types of photography, e.g. events, portraits, travel, architecture, etc. Coupled with the 24mm f1.4 and 55mm f1.8 lenses, the image quality has been superb (even if I have to crop the photos or in low-light conditions). I've very impressed!

I sold my Nikon d850 and bought the Sony a7r iii. I have no regrets so far. The sole reason I bought the A7RIII is for it's eye AF feature. It works really well in my field of work as I'm doing portraits. It's so much easier to lock focus on the fly without manually pin pointing my focus points. The dynamic range for this camera is also on par with my previous d850. I love it manages to capture a wide range of highlights and shadows. This makes post processing work a breeze. And it's also super light compared to DSLRS!

Expensive & heavy when I bought this camera a month ago! Happy in a way having a better focusing good for my street and macro photography, but not shooting at low angle mode. The camera is able to do landscape mode at low angle but not vertical mode. I am hoping that SONY conducts workshop and outings for new users to fully utilize all the great features in the camera.

I purchased an A7RM3 on 11 Apr 2019. S$3699 after S$1000 cash rebate during 01-31 April promotion. Now it is S$3399 after S$1300 cash rebate promotion until 31st May 2019. For those who have not bought it yet, I am happy for them. But for loyal customer like me, this is somewhat disappointing. I thought when I bought it, its a good deal. This is a high end camera and seems Sony will just slashed its price in less than a month just to meet sales target. Is this the way Sony doing its business? FYI I was on the fence in deciding between the A7M3 or the A7RM3. Because of the advise of your sales person (313 branch), the A7RM3 is technically better due to better EVF, built quality, 42 MP plus given a very good promotional price, it is more worth for the money compared to the A7M3, hence I finally decided on the A7RM3. The point is, for a camera under the pro category, Sony just decided to slash its price by another 30% within a month just to clear it off the shelves. It doesn’t do justice for faithful Sony followers especially no new successing model is coming out yet. This certainly showed Sony do not have faith in their product and resulting like a supermarket. This is not giving Sony a good name. Anyway just count myself bad luck and bad timing!

Fast autofocus, small and light. Freat low light photo and videograohy. Alternative powering via usb-c. Fantastic custom buttons and custom hold features. Excellent eye autofocus. Downside? Bloody expensive lenses... and it should be 10 bit 422 for the price (Like the GH5), and both SD slots should be high speed, not just one slot....

I've had the camera for about 2 months, coming from an old Canon, and Sony a6000. This simply blows everything out if the water. Compared it with the Nikon Z7 and Canon EOS R. Still preferred the Sony a7r III. Lets talk about the EYE auto focus. My gosh, this thing is the best thing to ever come to cameras. Kudos to Sony! Hit the button and nail eye focus every time. The only thing that I have a gripe with is, the "touch screen". It's half baked, you can't navigate through menu's. It's simply just turned off by default too. (Blame the software engineers)

Finally switched from DSLR to Mirrorless, Extremely happy that i have chosen Sony A7RIII. Still wondering how it can be slim and lightweight with tons of Fantastic features.The Hybrid AF is fast and accurate , Continuous AF tracking while recording videos was really smooth and spot-on.APS-C mode is really cool and still the image quality looks stunning.4K image quality and dynamic range looks great even without colour grading. Just one month into using A7RIII , still discovering new features of mirrorless. Finally , Thanks SONY .

Am very pleased with the A7r iii, it's a 3 in 1 body.. I am using it as an 18mpx full frame /Apsc cam , but when I need to.. I just switch it up to 42mpx. It responds promptly, Batt life is an ultramarathon level, the customizable buttons allows it to be my personalized tool.. Instinctively , I know where to set what I need. The cons are related also to the body... It's too short n my little finger is left dangling. The Sony half baked extension is rm600! So I'm still trying to find a solution. Batt grip is unnessesary. Secondly the right hand grip is not contoured enough, like the fingers could slip off . the lower left side is not rounded enough so it digs into my left palms, perhaps the lens mount is too much to the center. The power switch design has hard sharp edges and I would swap it for a more contoured shape, nicer to flick on/off. Apart from the physical discomforts above, the camera as a camera is really impressive n will do what I expect. Thanks.

This small camera packs a punch. But itself is fragile. You need to actually sit down, read the manual or watch a few youtube video to actually customize the camera to your liking. Its not a standardize camera, almost all buttons are customization and there is even a slot in the program for you to customize so you can zoom into your most used function for stills or video. Takes great images and color science is good. Eye AF is the best feature if you are portrait guy. Manual lenses are easy to use too on it thanks to the focus peaking feature. However, the hardware is a bit fragile. My C port could not tether after 3 times of use. Tested against my buddy's camera and we were sure it wasn't the cable problem.

I bought this camera for it's fantastic Eye AF and of course it's low light performance. Having an ISO invariant sensor means I can have more latitude in my exposures. It's a fab camera though ergonomics can be improved further.

I started my photography SLR journey earlier this year in January. I shoot photos on a weekly basis. Over time, I came to realise that a crop sensor camera can only get me so far, so that's where i decided to make the change to Sony, with the full frame camera. I shoot a variety of portraits, landscapes and street photos, and this camera is able to deliver on these 3 genres of my photography approach, in terms of AF performance, the optical quality and low light performance. In short, i bought this camera, and never looked back. The photos I've uploaded are shot with the Sony 24-70mm f2.8, a testimony to what your products can help me achieve. This is a powerful camera and many wonderful features in a small package. It is an extension to my eye. I like the high resolution, detail, clear and nice colourful image from a sensor with no AA filter. This is my 3rd A7R since first version. Still had the first A7R. Sold the A7Rii to get this A7Riii. Though it is the same sensor as A7Rii, but the image is very much better than the A7Rii plus full frame 4K video. Love the new Eye AF, great for people & portraiture. Spot on every time especially with native lenses. Also no need to press another button to activate it. With its high resolution, great to extend the focal length of lenses by using the 1.5x crop and still get great high resolution images. Even when pixel pick, still give clear, sharp and detail images. The Frame rate is great for sports and action but the buffer depth is even greater than ever before. It cleared the buffer quickly. I can continuously shoot without stopping and never miss any moment that happen in split seconds. There are just too many great feature in this camera that you just got have it to know them all. It was pricey at first. Now it is worth every cent. It has everything ones needs from beginners to advance to professional. Finally, love its fast and snappy response.

I am an “Auto” man , usually using Auto to picture my objects . When i was using the A7R , the autofocus is fast and my objects appears sharp when i move from one object to another quickly and snapping . but woth this A7Riii , the pictures are “blurred” when i do the same as above !!!

I’ve been using the Sony A7-system mirrorless camera as my primary camera since 2014, it is compact, lightweight and produces high IQ. The A7RIII is probably the best 35mm-format camera I have ever used for people, travel and general photography. The A7RIII’s AF is extremely fast and accurate. The enhanced Eye-AF focus and AF Continuous tracking are incredible quick ever for low-light indoor shooting, making it an outstanding camera for street and event photography. I find the 2,359k dots Electronic View Finder very useful; it makes small details extremely sharp. The real screen tilts up and down making it very easy to snapshot the moment at a high or low angle. I find the Joystick Controller & Touch Focus very useful especially for landscape or long-exposure photography. I like the newly introduced Pixel Shift Multi Shooting mode which produces a new ARQ format image with outstanding detail for static scenes.
